GENERAL MISSION
  • The Telephone Operator has the responsibility to processes local, long distance and overseas call, provided wake up call, service all incoming calls, providing directory services for guest, provide information of the hotel and follow the procedure in the case of emergencies.
RESPONSIBILITIES & MEANS
  • To handles all incoming and outgoing calls on the PABX and service consoles promptly, efficiently and courteously.
  • To assist guest and hotel executives to make a long distance calls via operator and make out charge vouchers accurately.
  • To handles "Wake-Up Call" accurately and efficiently.
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To handles incoming telexes and transmit to addressees promptly.
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To handle the in-house music and movie system.
  • To report to the Telecommunication Manager or Duty Manager of any irregular incidents and guests complaints immediately.
  • To takes all messages for the guests and hotel executives and process messages for guests through the computer system.
  • To maintain the cleanliness and good order of the working area.
COMMERCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To maintain the cleanliness and good order of the working area.
HUMAN RESPONSABILITIES
  • To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times.
  • To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
  • To maintain good working relationships with your own colleagues and all other departments.
  • To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel’s policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
  • To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
  • To have a complete understand of the hotel’s employee handbook and adhere to the regulations contained within.
  • To maintain the conditions of the office and working equipment.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
RELATIONSHIP
  • Establish Effective Employee relations, maintains the highest level of professionalism, ethic and attitude towards all hotels guest, clients, head of department and employees.
